Hey!  Welcome to the IEF website.

IEF is not the best clan in Raven Shield, but we're one of the most helpful clans. We don't mind helping individuals or clans with web designing, server handling, punk buster and game ini's, and basically anything else we know. We like to share our knowledge with everyone in the gaming community. So if you have any questions, suggestions or need any help, don't hesitate to come and chat with us or leave us a message over on the message boards.

We have put our Code of Conduct here so that every visitor to our website will read it. Please do so, carefully and do not assume that we are just the same as any other server.

Please read carefully:

Players will be BANNED for the following. (This would be an immediate banning, following only one warning or request, we do not muck around kicking players very often, we simply ban.):

-Using a false =IEF= label and/or arm-patch.

-Deliberate TKing or Gimping of other players. (Say your sorry...)

-Cheating in the game in any form.

SUGGESTIONS and . (While these areas do not constitute an immediate banning, the issue will be talked about and banning will eventually result if the offensive behavior continues!):

-Respect the maps and the server, a great deal of money, time and effort goes into keeping the servers interesting and up to date. If you don't like a map, don't say anything, but at least play a few rounds and then put up a vote, being prepared to abide by the decision of the majority of players. Don't tell people what they “have” to vote!

-Don't tell other people how to play. For example if you want to be silent then do so, but respect that others may choose to be loud, even if you think that is stupid. Of course suggestions may be made, but the right of an individual to play the game the way they choose should also be respected, many times the unusual can actually be a valid alternative.

-Being in the line of fire is not an absolute excuse, there is a responsibility to keep out of the line of fire, but this is not always possible and so there is a responsibility on the person behind also. Apologizing for an accidental TK is the best policy even if you don't think that you were at fault.

-We do not have “Zulu” for the last living member to rush or commit suicide, but rather to continue with the mission no matter how many terrorists are left. Of course you can choose to rush a bit, but we would encourage any last man standing to have a good go at it. Many times a map is finished in this way and also others learn not to be to reckless with their virtual lives!

More relevant to, but not necessarily exclusive to Team-speak:

-Respect women playing on the server. This is not a chat room or a dating service and real friendship with anyone male or female is something that is built through respect over time, so we all should be careful not to get to familiar to quickly, again this is true in any friendship. We want women in general and particularly married women to feel comfortable playing on our servers!

-Do not “advertise” that you are going off to play on another particular server. Simply say you are of to play elsewhere, adversarial or terrorist hunt and then communicate further details with anyone else in private, so as not to disrupt or take everyone else away from the game already being played.

-Language is a difficult area, we acknowledge that some people “swear” more than others and we do not wish to restrict such people from our servers, however amongst ourselves we usually apologize for an outburst of profanity and always try to build respect towards each other. Often a situation which might excuse to some extent an outburst of profanity, is a great opportunity to say something incredibly humorous, but perhaps not so overtly offensive!

-Put downs or offensive swearing directed towards another person is not acceptable. For example the designation “noob” or “newbie” is offensive and what should be said is that so and so is obviously new to the game and we should try to encourage and help such a person.
